"God Is Dead" is the sophomore album by Twin Temple, and perhaps the most blasphemous offering in their body of work. The record features the title track "God Is Dead" as a celebration of individuality and rebellion against religious dogma, and finds Twin Temple imagining burning churches and at the stake.

The record was meticulously recorded in mono using period accurate techniques, with Alexandra & Zachary playing every instrument from glockenspiel to castanettes to capture a vintage, period accurate tape saturated sound.
